Places to visit during your holiday at the Clos du Bourg campsite include:

Notre Dame de Monts: family seaside resort and authentic town

Notre Dame de Monts is a family seaside resort, set alongside a wide sandy beach that stretches for 4.5 kms, sand dunes and a magnificent forest of maritime pines.

In high season, three markets are weekly features of your holiday at Notre Dame de Monts, just 200 metres from the campsite: the big Sunday morning market opposite the supermarket, the Tuesday morning local farmers’ market and lastly the Thursday morning food market in Place de l’Eglise.

In the evenings, a great many street entertainments  and free concerts are organised by the resort. You can stroll along the Avenue de la Mer you and sample the famous “sucettes chaudes“ (hot lollies), “chichis” and other treats to eat that people of all ages will love. Every Tuesday evening this street comes alive with brightly-coloured stalls set up by the crafts people.
