Notre-Dame-de-Monts is a family-friendly resort town in the Vendée with a wide sand beach that stretches for 4.5 km, dunes and a gorgeous forest of maritime pine.
In high season, 3 markets take place during your week in Notre-Dame-de-Monts, only 200 meters from the campsite: the big Sunday market across from the supermarket, the local market on Tuesday mornings and the food market on Thursday mornings at Place de l’Eglise.
At night, a variety of street entertainment and free concerts are offered in town. As you stroll down Avenue de la Mer, you can try the famous sucettes chaudes, chichis and other treats that will delight kids of all ages. On Tuesday evenings, the street comes alive with the colorful stalls of craftsmen.
